Search on the forum for other information and sources. E-mail me DIRECT.... taylorcraft@neo.rr.com NO you cannot have a blank .... Send me a "letter of authorization" as outlined in the regulations about "lost or missing data plates." It is issued by the local FSDO or authority in your country...Simple matter. You may need a "conformance inspection." I ALWAYS ask you what happened to the original one...... it is the airplane , maybe it's out there flying around somewhere. I have outlined this procedure many times.... any PMI or IA or A&P should know what to do. I have tried to explain that I need it ALL in one package, 1. Copy of letter of authorization to the owner or me as his representative, NOT the factory. 2. ATC # 3. N-Number 4. Serial # from paper work 5. Date of manufacture. If you don’t have it, I can look it up for you. 6. Copy of certificate of registration & method of payment to Barber Aircraft. Send check, Visa or MC Fee is $45.00. That is $10.00 for plate, $30.00 for doing it with original plates & stamps. $5.00 S&H (two day) If yours is still lying here, e-mail me to see what is missing.
